You will have visibility into a dynamic environment with a breadth of responsibilities, including full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of family-owned businesses, treasury support, cash flow projections, budget analysis, working with auditors, off-balance sheet tracking, and creating numerous reports and investment summaries/schedules.

The Director of Accounting is a new addition to a very small team, with an opportunity to build a team and take on more responsibility over time. The mandate of this role is to partner with the CFO with overall responsibility for the finance and accounting of the Family Office.

Essential Skills:

• CPA, CA with hands-on accounting and tax experience with private clients and private tax matters.
• A fundamental understanding of investments across a broad spectrum of asset classes.
• Curiosity is highly valued.
• Discretion, confidentiality, and loyalty are essential.
