“The more I help others succeed, the more I succeed.” Ray Kroc
This could be our clients’ motto. A nonprofit with over 30 years of helping others live more fulfilling, engaged, and enriched lives, they provide individualized supports and residential services, as well as training and development programs for support workers, care givers, and other organizations.
They are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their senior leadership team as they build on their existing strengths and chart a path for the future. This is a new role for the organization, one that will provide leadership for all financial strategy, accounting, reporting, and analysis, as well as managing the Human Resources and IT functions.
The CFO will work closely with the Board of Directors, outside agencies, and the provincial government to ensure sound management decision making and compliance with all legislative and fiduciary requirements.
The ideal candidate is an experienced senior finance professional who is operationally focused, can think and act strategically, and plan thoughtfully. Adept at building strong internal and external relationships at all levels, as well as able to explain complex finance issues to non-finance stakeholders is key. Experience in the social service or not-for-profit sector and working with Ontario government ministries are strong assets. A CPA designation is essential.
If you have 8+ years of progressive senior financial and leadership experience, the desire to be part of an organization focused on service to the community, and enjoy leading change, this role could be of interest.
